Boarding

  • Our optimum boarding capacity is 14-20 pets (depending upon their sizes).
  • Most boarding is accommodated in the lower level of the facility, which is always well ventilated, air conditioned in the summer, and heated in the winter for the comfort of pets.
  • There are 6 large runs (3ft.x 4ft.) and 8 deluxe cages (2ft. x 3ft.). Runs and cages are fitted with rubber mats and are cleaned and disinfected daily. Boarders are welcome to bring with them comfort toys, blankets, etc., but we ask that these items be kept to a minimum as space is limited.
  • In the grooming area on the street level, there are two banks of laminated wood enclosures that are used to hold pets being groomed. However, these may be used for boarders if space permits.
  • All cats are housed in the grooming area on the street level whenever possible.
  • Fresh drinking water is continuously provided to pets, and they are fed according to their usual schedule with either their own food (which the owner must provide) or the facility's dry food. Medications will be administered as directed by the pet's owner for an additional fee.
  • Dogs are walked daily for exercise.
  • Owners must provide a copy of their pet's vaccination certificate as proof of required immunizations. In addition to Rabies, dogs must be vaccinated for DHPP and Bordatella (Canine Cough), and cats for FVRCP and Leukemia.
